Willows Valiant 7 Vs. All Blacks 2
|
GRS 1 Vs Franklin College 4
|
Willows Vs All Blacks cup game, penalty replay.
|
Willows Valiant went into this game needing to to win and with a point
to prove & a score to settle, All Blacks couldn't contain the likes
of Variants Gav Schofield & Jason Chisnall. (DG)
|
Franklin outplayed & out thought an organised strong GRS team.
Franklin's Dan Brown's quick feet & Tom hardy with an excellent
individual goal sealed GRS's fate. (DG)
|
All Blacks won 5 - 4 after star man Danny Durosamo failed to score from the spot with crucial tenth shot. (DG)
Danny will not like me reminding him that he has done same for FC
Grimsby and Harvest FC in past. Great player, but 50/50 when he takes a
penalty, or am I being harsh (KB).

Why a penalty replay?
To cut a long story short a player took 2 penalties for his team during his teams first 5 penalties. This in first game. This situation was caused by a player injury-incurred during shoot out. A billion to one situation not covered in the games LAWS. The result of the shoot out was appealed, taxing the best futsal brains.
A retake was agreed by both teams.
No team or referee broke any ruling to bring us to such a challenged situation. (KB)
