Monday Premier League
3 excellent 'League Cup' games. Gy Institute shock Newton Heath with 2 goal start, Newton got back on track and were flattered by late flurry of goals. 10-2
Fulstow played some of the best futsal I have seen some time. They beat a strong Youngs' team 6-3. Liam Higton bagged 2 Fulstow goals playing a very high flying keeper.
Shamrock came out on top in an 11 goal thriller with Catalonia.
Fulstow Vs. Youngs' Seafoods' at 2nd Avenue.

Under 11 Junior League
Gy Soccer Club Tigers and East Coast Lions both win to keep pressure on each other at top. GSC Elite win keeps them on fringes of title race, Disc' Jets held them 3-3 to last few minutes. GSC Waltham win to get first 3 points.

Under 13
Junior League
Healing, Discoveries Titans and Tigers all win to keep 1, 2, and 3 at top. Just have a feeling this league has a few twists to come, watch out for Keelby and GSC taking a big scalp, Keelby are not yet playing to full potential, newcomers GSC are making slow solid progress each week.
Due to a fixture mistake Clee Dynamos played back to back games; they lost both but their effort was commendable, in the last half against GSC they played their best futsal of the night, this at a time they should have been burnt out!

Tuesday - League Cup
Madrid and AFC Trawl just squeeze past StreetSoccer and Clee Wanderers in close games. El Dogoes and Frankiln College have resounding cup wins.
|
|
Grimsby Saxons |
Wednesday - League Cup
Newton Heath and Yarra score 20 (11-9 to Newtons). 'Josh' score 7 for Newtons to nullify the Yarra super missile (Gary Nimmo). The 2 other ties went to penalties StreetSoccer beating Scartholonia in a penalty shoot out. Saxons out the game with minutes on the clock, dragged their game vs. BBS Couriers back to 3-3 with almost the last kick of game, and went to win the shoot out thanks to some great keeper stops and some well taken penalties.

Thursday League
A late Bench Warmers cancellation threw night out, thanks to East Marsh taking game at almost no notice evening was salvaged. Their thanks was to be beaten 8-7 by Everglaze. Market Hotel then won a tight League Cup Semi vs. Fulstow'B' team 6-4. Big win for Market who are showing continued improvement. Be very interesting to see how squad fares in Grimsby Saturday Football League. Inter finished evening with 8-3 win over new boys Clee Futsal; a close score than I anticipated.
