AFC TRAWLERMEN

Trawl have to be credit with keeping match alive, day before team was struggling to get team out, as it was they got a team out including just three regular players.

An early Trawler-men goal got them off to a great start, Newton then levelled, from then Trawler-men had to work hard to keep Newton from a second. A late last minute Newton second goal spoilt  night.

Blaine led 4-2 and 6-2 before a late Scartho charge brought them 5-8. Two more goals in the last minute took them to 7-8.

Scartho was beaten by the clock.

Weight Watchers have taken on the BBS games, BBS are left with debts to cover after leaving league without completing matches.

On a high after beating Saxons WW accepted a second game against GRS All Stars, a game to far, GRS on their day belie there lowly league position.

WW previously played as BARCA in the Kent St. Thursday League.
