Shamrock vs. StreetSoccer
Scartholonia represented Wednesday All Stars and would have been delighted to move up a league and win, clearly Scartholonia have plugged some of the basic errors that has cost them recent games.  Tetchy game, mainly from Valiant, spoiled an otherwise entertaining game.
Points awarded, Trawl manager had to rush to London on company business, players left in charge let him down.
 Postponed.

Bottom placed Saxons can take credit for keeping the score so close against third from top Trawler-men.  The game was tight for along time, only a late rally and Saxons failure to finish put a healthy margin between the teams. The limited time I watched this game Saxons had to be complimented on number of defensive tackles and saves they made. Trawler-men had a team out that would have given any opposition a game - so credit Saxons.  Referee GB reported that GSC got off to a fly-er whilst Weight Watchers never got started.  If I was at the bookies this would have been a score draw.

Refereed this one, what a great game, no back chat, decisions accepted, exemplary.

Every one of the goals was hard earned, Scartholonia specialising in the text book counter attack, GRS in creating great positions for power shooting.  Coates scored three blinders for GRS, Steve Goodwin managed to score from his goal area over the opposing GK who had ventured up-field, Scartho scored almost every time they had a player overload opportunity.

After the game I overheard GRS questioning how they kept finding themselves stretched on the counter break, problem they have to solve if they are to get into the top three.

Had Scott Harris played for Blaine this game would have been more even, Blaine did their best, but at times Scott was unplayable.

Blaine can take credit for making Fresh sweat pounds to get the result their play deserved.
