'Moggs' Grimsby Soccer Club

An invitation game, Lindum Homes are planning to play in the Sunday League Division 8.
The score tells us little about Lindum Holmes as a prospective football team, they included four adult players that did not know each other and three inexperienced youth players.
What it did tell us about East Marsh Inter is they are a very competent futsal side, at the bottom age for playing senior football, they can give many an older team a run for their money.
They gave their opposition a rude awaking to futsal.

A feisty game, as is to often the case on smaller futsal courts.
Only in the last quarter of the game did EM start to take control, get level and then finish the game.
GSC had stars in keeper 'Paul' aided by exemplary defending from Moggs. Great defenders consistently get a foot on the ball without playing the man, Moggs was that man.
It is not being rude to team mates to say that the wheels fell off around these two when the second half EM onslaught started.

Toll Bar out of their comfort zone age wise, giving away every physical advantage to their opponent, damage limitation is the exercise.
The score taken at base level says Toll Bar was thrashed. As one who has not seen them for some weeks their futsal intelligence is much improved.
Be very interesting to see Toll Bar when next pitted against their own age group.
