120 teams competed last weekend at Manchester and Milton Keynes in a Johnstone Piant five a-side competition.  Not played to futsal rules, the winners of each group was to qualify for a final to be played at Wembley before the 2011 Johnstone Paint trophy.  Mark Huntly went with a team of old Magpie futsal stars and new futsal league faces, knowing that futsal players would give him the edge, but to win over 60 teams was going to be a tough call.

They came close, losing out in a semi final.

In text speech from Mr Huntly, 'Got totally robbed in the semi finals, we were by a country mile the best team there. A bit of a sour subject with us all at the moment mate.'
