BPS Couriers (formerly Harvest FC) take 7 points out of 8; from 3 very tight games.  Back to back game against Grimsby All Blacks ended 3-3 & 1-0, the draw was snatched by All Blacks with the last deflected touch of the game; the win was a case of snatch a goal and cling on.  5-4 against Fulstow Rovers was a great result for the league as it opens the challenge for Littlefields, Catalonia, Harvest and long shot outsiders Shamrock if they can put a run together.

The tightness of the league was illustrated by Shamrock 6 Littlefield 2; Young’s Seafood’s 4 All Blacks 5; College 2001 3 Gunners Watch 4.

Tuesday results not in, but even without them the league is looking a StreetSoccer stroll, the battle is for 2nd place; anyone of 6 teams can get there.  One team to watch ‘Whakker’ 5 games behind, if they could take maximum points StreetSoccer have to sweat, they have the players to do it.

Wednesday teams had a night off; the Resource Centre becomes San Sire on bonfire night.  Tables can be confusing, Inter are clearly top; that changes if you sort the table by loses Hemswell becomes the form team, sort by draws and Harvest Works are top with 3 in 7 games, goal difference puts Futsal Legends on top; goals against and most losses is uncomfortably with Grimsby Saxons.

New teams suffering defeats take note that several of the teams that are at the top have experienced the pains of getting to grips with futsal; put 2 even teams against each other and I will bet the one with futsal experience will win.
