FC Grimsby is accepted as a member of the inaugural FA National Futsal League (North).
There will be 3 conferences, North, South and Midlands
All matches will be played at the prestigious Ponds Fords venue in Sheffield; the top team from each group progressing  to a FA National Final - a play off tournament involving the winners of each group.
The Northern group will include:
Sheffield CFA
Sheffield FC
Hull Futsal
FC Grimsby
Middlesbrough Futsal Club
Tranmere Victoria Futsal Club
Manchester Futsal Club
Futsal Club Barca
The two Sheffield teams are amalgamations of teams currently playing futsal.  Sheffield FC will be dangerous; they have a Brazilian coach and won the 2007 Futsal Premier League Northern Conference.
Hull Futsal is made up of full badge FA coaches and ex Hull City players.  Adam Lowthorpe director of coaching for East Riding County FA is a great influence on drawing in key players.  Ashley Alison is currently playing for England in the KL5’s tournament in Kuala Lumper, Malaysia.
Middlesbrough Futsal, include mainly university players spent the summer training with Barcelona’s futsal team.  Stuart Downing is the club President.
Manchester Futsal is a new team, having only played friendly games to date, made up of coaches applying their trade with Manchester and Liverpool Count FA’s.
Tranmere Futsal, have always reached the last stages of the FA Futsal Cup.  A mix of nationalities, the team has played futsal in most European countries.  England’s first UEFA Cup entrants.  Tranmere kick started the FA to futsal when they played the Iran national team in Chester, part funded by FIFA.  Iran rated 5th in World at that time. John Barnes is club President
Futsal Club Barca, team coach Kevin Barr, Kevin is currently writing the FA Futsal Course Level 2.  He then heads of to Brazil to take their level 3.  A young team missing an experienced ‘head’.
FC Grimsby, work in progress.  We have the advantage of a strong Grimsby Premier League.  All our players get a serious game every week No other team will have players that have accumulated as many games as Grimsby.  Paul Goodhand has played for England, Lee Graves is in the current training squad, and Danny Hornigold has excelled against the best at FA Finals.  Young players like Kirk Russell and Scott Harris sleep and play futsal. We have no fears of the opposition, just anticipation to play.  Being founder members of the FA league is a credit to the Grimsby Futsal League.

FC Grimsby has no illusions of the challenges ahead; the team is always seeking players and partners to take Grimsby to the next level of futsal; if you can assist FC Grimsby progress please contact:
