New West Marsh Community Centre pitch an opportunity missed? Print E-mail

Just had a look at their new 3G outdoor venue based at the Community Centre.  What a great opportunity, what a disappointment, for a lot of money they appear to have a pitch to small for adult use with no perimeter line markings and no safety zones between the players and the fence!

If I ordered a tennis court and it arrived with a fence as the perimeter lines would I pay the bill?  The answer is no so why is football different?

They say a camel is a horse designed by a committee; was the court a committee decision?

Suppliers need bringing to heel, they are the experts and they are getting away with too much to easily.

Last week I witnessed a school, pupils 6-10, install adult basket ball hoops!

What next?  A 10 meter diving board into a bucket of water.  EmbarassedYellFrownUndecidedSealed
