Every game played was at a standard that is a real test to players. From top to bottom there is no easy game.
College vs. Fulstow Rovers was no exception. Speed of the mark, intelligent play, the game had it all. Whenever a team did breach a defense goal keepers where on hand to make saves.
Just a point on referees, I have refereed 2 night sthis week. Monday I was freezing, Tuesday I was wet through, neither situation is condusive to good refereeing. Players get warm when they play, referees stay cold and wet. Just a thought for players to ponder on.

game of the night by far magpies thinking it would be a walkover how wrong was they, went in at half time thinking the game was over at 6-2 but second ave 2 had other ideas got it back to 9-9 with two mins left then finally magpies bang to goals in last minute, second ave 2 was disappointed but they did them self’s proud well done lads
College lead 1-0 at half time, but a score forecast of the end result was impossible. What you can be sure of is that College will defend deep as a team and invite you on. There counter attack is as good as any team; this proved the story of the second half. Fulstow equalized but could never get into the heart of the College defense to create clear ‘tap in’ chances. College did create tap in’s on the counter to counter, to run out 4-1 winners.
The difference between the teams? College had the ever brilliant ‘Cookie’ in goal whilst Fulstow was forced into using a less experienced futsal keeper.
Shin pad rules is being enforced, make sure your team has spare pads for the player that might forget!
