Level 1 Futsal Course Print E-mail

I am looking at running a Futsal Level 1 in the next couple of months. To do this you need a FA Level 1 qualification as this is a bolt on course to the introduction to Futsal Level 1.

Futsal is the format of Small Sided Football that is recognised and supported by FIFA and UEFA with World and European Championships for club and National Teams

The name 'Futsal' simply combines the Spanish words for ‘Hall’ – Sala and ‘Football’ – Futbol into Futsal. It is a five-a-side game, played with hockey sized goals and a smaller ball with a reduced bounce.

As a small-sided game players are constantly placed in situations where they must receive or play whilst under pressure or in confined spaces and it places considerable demand on technique, movement, tactical awareness and fitness.

To support the development of Futsal in England, The FA has devised an introductory six hour coaching course at various places around the country.

Course Objectives
•    On completion of the course the candidate should be able to:
    Understand and appreciate the fundamentals of Futsal
    Organise and coach the basic skills and techniques of Futsal
    Understand the basic principles of attack and defence of Futsal
    Appreciate the ‘Laws of the Game’ of Futsal
    Have an appreciation of the fitness demands of Futsal
Course of Training - 6 hours
•    4 hours practical
•    2 hours theory
Pre-Course Requirements
The course is an open access course. However in order to be certificated candidates must hold one of the existing FA Coaching Awards. Candidates seeking certification for the course should therefore hold or have attended the following;
•    An existing FA Coaching Qualification
•    FA Child Protection module
•    FA Emergency First Aid
Assessment
•    Successful completion of the Course Assessment Examination Paper (multiple choice)
•    Successful completion of the FA Emergency First Aid module or equivalent
•    Successful completion of the FA Child Protection module
•    100% course attendance
To run the above course I would like to assess the following if you are interested in attending when would be best for you to attend?

•    Weekend
•    two weekday evenings ( if this is possible, this entirely depends on the tutor.)
•    One weekday
If you could respond with the above information and your:-
•    Name
•    E mail Address
•    If your interested in doing the course.
•    Contact Number
•    Club Name (if appropriate)
I am trying to keep cost to a minimum ( and in the region of £10 - £30) however this depends on how many people are interested in participating.

I hope to hear from you as soon

Kind Regards

Sarah
