YMCA can't be denied their moment

YMCA scratched a team together after Discoveries made the right decision to 'pull'their ‘Red’ team as support was not forthcoming from within team.

This after manager ‘Mike’ had toiled on a sponsored bike ride to raise club funds.

YMCA not only scratched a team they scratched a win with a defence, defence, defence tactic.  Team coach Kevin Bryant was brought up in a generation dominated by Italian defences.

Fresh from the teams Spanish success, reported in Grimsby Telegraph, Fusion Colts continue to win, this time an excellent 4-3 result against Little Devils.

Whenever Fusion attacked they looked to make it a 3 on 2 opportunity, the same when defending, as a consequence they appeared at times to have one more player than Little Devils.

After a handful of games Futsal Tigers are the only unbeaten team (played 4).  Red Dragons got close to taking something out of the game, scoring four, but let down by conceding six.

Tigers are now poachers prime target.

GSC Dynamite are a surprise package, hammered in their first game, they fought their way to the top end of the table.

The nights top scorers with seven goals.

   School Year8/9
A surge of new teams, New Waltham, Crowland Crusaders and HAFC all join in one week, excellent news particularly the requests to join are from junior players who want to manage and organise themselves.
