We are seeking to appoint a committed Physical Education and Sport enthusiast to assist in the co-ordination and development of our existing and well established School Sport Partnership.
This is a unique and exciting career opportunity for a dedicated and motivated professional. The post holder will play a key role in supporting schools to meet the Government's public service agreement target of ensuring young people spend at least 2 hours per week on high quality PE and sport. The role is also instrumental in enabling and encouraging schools to use PE and sport as a vehicle for raising standards and achievement across the whole school.
The successful candidate will be a vital part of the team and will be expected to assist and support the Partnership Development Manager and the 13 School Sport Co-ordinators in the implementation of the Partnership Development Plan.
Applications are sought from professionals with a real commitment to developing curricular, out of schools hours and community based learning and sporting opportunities for young people.
Knowledge of school and community sport is essential along with the ability to communicate with a variety of partners. You will need to possess skills in strategic planning, partnership working and the ability to influence and co-ordinate sustainable local delivery.
