On Thursday junior teams HAFC and Humberston played a trial match indoor at the
YMCA sports hall. From the beginning the differences were clear, the game was a
much faster pace. Players had very little time on the ball even on a
larger pitch than they are use too. Due to the fast pace of the game the game
play was excellent with periods of passing and movement any team would be happy
with. The indoor conditions made the hall very humid so a lot of the players
where very tired by the end of it, but by Winter time this will be a great
factor stopping games getting called off left, right and centre because of the
bad weather. If the future of the junior league is indoors good times
and good futsal will be ahead.
