 We all claim that we want best for our player protegees, but do we really?  A challenging question. Not one I care to get into as my early days as a junior football coach was littered with bad practises, many directly from the FA (11v11 with 10 year olds).

Today there is a genuine interest amongst our junior futsal coaches to how young players develop. this interest was not there 20-30 years ago, which brings me to an interesting article from the USA, well worth a read if like me you are involved in the junior game.
