For the second year running harvest were drawn against Skegness town at home in the county cup,the first half was a dull affair with both teams battling for the ball which made it hard either team to get on top. With 5 minutes to go before half time the young Stefan Melin turned his man and chipped the ball over the Skegness goal keeper and into the net but the goal was judged to be offside.

Second half started with Skegness using the long ball tactic trying to force the back line of harvest kiff, durosomo, nuel, barwick,Goodwin to make a mistake,Skegness pumped a long ball over the harvest defence only for 2 skegness players who were cought off side which the referee blew for offside, the Skegness number 8 still put the ball in the net and then made a comment to referee D.Cook who showed the player a red card. This got the harvest lads going and they started to dominate the game.Dale Mason played Ryan Smith through whos shot smashed off the post and in the net for 1 -0,it was then his older brothers turn to score when melin crossed the ball in for Ben Smith to cheekly back heel into the net for 2-0.Then Shane Garvie played in Ben Smith who passed the ball into younger brother ryan who slotted home the third of the day,the last goal saw Jon Oglesby play a through ball to Ryan Smith who lobbed the goalkeeper from 4o yards for his hatrick and for harvest to sail into the next round.Referee D.Cook had a very good game.
