No stand out results to report, other than the tightness of the results. No team ended a game with a -10 goal difference; which speaks volumes for teams ability to defend.
The best save I saw all week was a near post 'chest save' by Trawl keeper (Wednesday League vs. Newton Heath).
The Premier League gave me my Grimsby Institute goal of the week. Shane Ludlow in a defencive position beat 2 attackers without allowing the ball to touch the floor, played a forward pass, (ball still in air) which he followed to recieve the return and place into the opponents goal - top corner.
