Saxons results are changing for the better, wins are not there yet, but the goal difference in games they have lost has dropped significantly.

Blaine are proving a real nuisance to opposition, game after  game is a close result. Why not more points? look at goals scored (32), conceded (31), difference plus one. Top placed Newtons have scored same but conceded far less.

6 teams have 6 points after opening games.

Nothing between two sides on the outfield, GRS had the experienced, agile Gavin Broughton in goal, and that's were part of the the difference lay.

O.B.K.N also need to realise long shots, as a rule, do not pay big dividends at futsal, passes across the keeper for tap-ins are the key.

Finally the group of school year 5/6 lads that hang around the venue most nights had a first training session with a view to forming their own Second Avenue futsal team.
