GFL  Willows Valiant 9 Franklin College 6
Shamrock 15 New All Stars 6
All Blacks 2 El Dogoes 6
Trawl 5 GFL Wed' All Stars 0
Willows Dale Mason , back from injury, seperated two good sides.

'Bucco' unplayable for Shamrock.

Result not a complete disaster for New All Stars new managment team, they are work in progress.

A depleted  All Blacks team was always going to struggle against an El Dogoes team that gets better week by week.

Unfortunate problem with Wed' All Stars led to game being postponed.

NB:The Wednesday All Stars are registered as a team with LFA, but may consist of any team playing in Wednesday League that has not got a game that week.

Newton Heath 6 Scartholonia 5
Fresh 4 AFC Trawlermen 6
GY Saxons 2 Keelby 6 GRS All Stars 7 Blaine 4

Real scare for Newton Heath, defending leagues only 100% record.

Scartholonia starting to mix it with table leaders.

Trawlermen keep on doing just enough to win games, conversely Fresh just keep falling short.

Mid- way into the second half Saxons was holding opponents 2-2. Was a shock win on the cards?

Keelby rallied their forces and ran away with the game, but not until Saxons had nearly caused an upset.

GRS, without dominating game, had a 6-1 lead at one point.  GRS was ontop of their game with all players firing, Blaine had a strong squad but will argue was two key players short.  Blaine or Manchester united its about the team you put out, not the team you might have put out.

Blaine showed their quality retrieving game to 6-4, GRS rocked but did not collapse, killing game off 7-4 in last minute.
