Willows Valiant 7- Shamrock 3.  Man of the match was Dale Jenkins who was first to close players down at any opportunity.

Trawl get a massive boost with an important win over El Dogoes. Game was in Trawl hands until late El Dogoes fight back took game to wire.

Franklin College will have looked at opposition Clee Wanderers form and thought easy points.

7-5 shows this was a close encounter for title aspirants.

Clee keeper Gavin Broughton 'man of the match.'

Top placed BBS beat second bottom Scatholonia 9-2, not a comprehensive win. I watched last 10 minutes bizarrely won by Scartho 2-1, scoring two excellently worked goals. Scartho should be taking mid table scalps, the ability to attack is there, its the discipline to defend that seems to be missing.

Newton 5 Fresh 5. This takes Fresh to 6 without loss, only BBS on 8 are in better form.BBS are 11 in all competitions.

Yara 4 Blaine 6.  Great game, bags of skill and technique. and controlled aggression. Referees had little to stop game for.  Early stages went  Yara way and up to half time  they looked as they could go onto win; as so often happens in tight games the team with the extra player on the bench wins.  Brilliantly balanced game start to finish.

GRS 12 Gy Saxons 3. Score tells you everything or does it? GRS scored 12 because then whole team is capable of clinical finishing. That said Saxons must feel raw; every deflection ended up as a goal against them.  Take away the penalty areas and this was an evenly contested game in midfield.  Saxons are the best bottom placed team I have seen.
