Brief update forth coming england futsal internationals. On the saturday, I am 1st referee England vs. Andorra with Peter Nurse 2nd referee, which im looking forward to.
Marc Birkett and Steve Wade refereeing Friday evening's game. Andorra may be a surprise package as they have beaten Macdonia recently.
The start of the FA National Futsal League is upon us, so the games will be coming thick and fast.
I'm being asked all the time how to get into refereeing futsal, which Phil Joslin (Referee Development Officer LFA) should be getting pestered about as they want to sit the course first before ringing the GFL.
Hopefully a step in the right direction as this will also supply referees for all levels of futsal, as well as raising the profile of the game with the players.
