Saved everything shot at him.

Week 1 did not throw up the most interesting set of fixtures as teams clubs with 2 teams were asked to play A vs. B team week one and two.
Stu Orr will make what he will of this one, I am told it was his stronger squad that lost to his supposed 'B' team?

Fusion Colts (formerly Ameshi) ran out comfortable winner's against a GSC team missing their strongest defender and an attacker with a 40 goal league season behind him.
Credit has to be given to Fusion Colts and their management team, the work they had all done off the pitch was obvious.

Last seasons Elite just had the better of last seasons second placed Little Devils.
Elite laying down a challenge to the other 9 competing teams.

Goal keeping distribution lays down the standard as to how futsal is played. Teams cannot develop passing play if the ball is being thrown or kicked long ball style to a forward as far up field as he can get.
Continental coaches demand the GK throws the ball low to a player in his own half, teams I have played against do not allow junior GK's to clear the half way line with the ball. Opposition coaches help by not pressurising play high up the pitch.
This in all propabability will mean a team losing games they otherwise might have won. But, by not encouraging/coaching GK distribution are we not letting the players down long term?
Goal keeping distribution cannot be coached in isolation, four other outfield players have to assist the GK by finding open space for themselves.
Two recent television programmes have mentioned that Barcelona junior teams lose more games than they win and yet three of this years FIFA World Player of the Year was from that clubs youth set up. Food for thought?

Fusion and Red Dragon keepers was brilliant at distribution, and have set the standard for the others to follow.
