Build up continued with training session at YMCA Sunday against a very accomplished group of players from Kent St.  The Sheffield & Hallam game will be a severe test against the league favourites, a team that gave us a drubbing last year, but who we narrowly lost to in the return game.  It will be a tough opener, but that said it will be tough opener for Sheffield.  The difference this year is that Grimsby is building a solid squad that want to train specifically for futsal.  Having good players is one thing but have a team with a tactical plan and set plays takes the same team to another level.

Assistant Team Manager Matt Payne.
