Games was played both Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.  It's traditional that futsal teams play two games this way.

Grimsby can be justifiably proud  that it had two representatives involved, Gavin Sartain was main match referee on the Friday game I attended, whilst Ben Mortlock made his 24th England start.

The Friday game ended 1-1, a score flattering to England.  The game at this level is very unforgiving and as a consequence teams don't take to many chances, possession is everything.  The only time an England player dribbled in the whole game a goal was almost scored, this before Greece took a 1-0 lead themselves.  A Greece counter attack gave them a 1-0 lead just before the break.  England will show good possession stats, but it was possession for the sake of possession.  Greece was asking the questions and making the keeper work.  Against the run of play England broke, the last Greece defender slipped making a tackle - England equalised, a well finished half chance. Final score 1-1.

The Saturday game went to Greece 6-1.  I understand England played a 'development team'  but not confirmed.    FA web site report
