Humberstone 5 HAFC

Rocked by an early Humberstone goal HAFC fought back to level, fell behind again before closing the half 2-3.  A nip and tuck half played at a frenetic pace, just edged by Humberstone.

The second period Humberstone maintained their level of play whilst HAFC wilted.  Humberstone ran out 5-2 winners.

Discoveries Titans 7 FC United 1

Half time and United was within with a shout, they had caused them so problems and was only a goal behind at 2-1.

The second half was a different story; Titans took the game by the scruff of the neck, scoring an additional five goals, United not responding.  Titans was superb throughout, when the going gets tough they step up the pass rate, move more, shift their opponents about and are clinical when they see the keepers eyes.  Most of Titans goals are passed into the net.  United by contrast went long ball from the keeper to the smallest player on the pitch?

Crowland Athletic 1 Toll Bar 18

Coach Andy Burrow’s has a big task on his hands, but credit to him, his team is there every week with a smile on their faces.  There might be a lesson here for the rest of us?  Brazil beat S.Africa 36 – 1, the difference between an established country and futsal novices.  Crowland deficits have dropped every game, this game they had more shoots off than any game to date.  Their results hide the fact they have improved more over four games than any other team.
