 GFL
Premier League   Tuesday League  Wednesday League

 Shamrock 4 Grimsby Institute 8

Shamrock miss two weeks and come back a different team, same players, but not the form Bushell would want of his team.

Youngs' Seafoods' 8 Newton Heath 4

Youngs' ran up a big lead that Newton's started to close in the second half once they started pressing Young's in there own half.

Two weeks, Valiant vs. Galacticos (Leisure League Champions)

Trawl picked up 6 points on the night as they beat Biffa, who stood in for StreetSoccer who disappointingly had to withdraw through transport problems late in the day.  Thus conceding points and incurring match fee.

El Dogoes and Franklin College recorded big wins, Barca and Clee Wanderers losing out.

NB: A yellow card was given out in Biffa vs. Trawl game; this has been updated by League to a 'red.'

Don't be named first on Wednesday League fixtures.  All four first named teams scored 2 and lost!

Leaders BBS Couriers and Newton Heath both won, third and fourth (GRS vs. Yarra) went to third placed GRS.

Scartholonia had an overdue win against AFC Trawl, putting 3 of the bottom four on 9 points.

 Under 11 League

 Under 13 League  Thursday League
Discoveries Rangers picked up three points against New Waltham who was let down by a player not turning up.  Rangers did what they had to do and beat what was in front of them.  The bottom six teams have won either two or three games each, its that close.

Grimsby Soccer Club Elite, the players choose the name, and East Coast 'A' both won to keep it neck and neck at the top.

Both GSC Panthers and GSC Tigers are waiting for any slip ups.  Tigers beat Little Devils 4-2.  Chris Francis must have split his teams well as they are so closely placed (4th & 5th).

Tigers had a chance to maul Discovery Tartans, who started a man down, but they hardly put a scratch on them.  Tartans with 'their man' ran out 5-1 winners.

Novartis vs. Grimsby Soccer Club was interesting in that both teams are at the bottom end of the table and yet they produced some great skills.  Jake and Aussie linking up to score one goal  that was pure 'Brazil.

GSC 4 without defeat!

Second placed Everglaze taken close to losing three points by Pilgrims. 4-3

Fulstow to experienced for Grimsby Soccer Club. 16-5

East Marsh help out by playing back to back games. Pick up 6 points off Barca and Bench Warmers. BW holding them to a creditable two goal deficit.

 Junior teams NB:

Barnsley FC are keen to promote futsal, they would welcome our junior teams to play them.  I am assured they have a fantastic facility.  I have asked them for a best time to visit.
