(Fresh)

Tuesday games - All CUP ties.

StreetSoccer 3 Vs  Franklin 6

Shamrock 3 Vs Willows Valiant 9
All Blacks 4 Vs El Dogoes 4 Trawl 5 Vs Clee Wanderers 3
StreetSoccer started excellently with a goal of the month contender from StreetSoccers ''Dan Taylor'' who lobbed Franklin's ''Gav'' from inside his own half, Franklin reacted with a six goal thriller to see them through to the next round.
Willows dominated throughout with good build up play from Vals ''Dale'' who could easily be a contender for top scorer in the competition, With good hold up play from ''Chiz'' even with ''Paul Goodhand'' playing for Shamrock they just couldn't get through Willows defence who proceed to next round.
After a 4-4 draw, Both teams went to penalties, & after 5 each it went to sudden death after 3 goals & 2 saved/missed each. El Dogoe's ''Burger'' stepped up & hit the post, All Black's ''Wissam'' sealed their victory to take them through to the next round of the cup.
A game that could of gone either way, Trawl kept the ball well, patiently waiting for an opening whilst Clee was waiting for a mistake for counter attack, a risky game to play as it invites shots on goal, Trawls ''Scott Gittens'' the difference.

Wednesday Games

Newton Heath 12 OWKN 7
GRS 3 Fresh 6
Weight Watchers 3 AFC Trawler-men 4

Scartholonia 4 Grimsby Soccer Club 6

Cup Qualifying Round

Remarkable OWKN got this close, they started short of players and only made up numbers whilst game was playing.

Team Manager DM was playing cricket!

GRS conceded that Fresh's greater fitness was the key to them losing the game.

Stop Mr Perpetual Motion (Scott Harris) and you have a chance.

Trawl' will pass you to death, they don't rush attacks just for the sake of attacking, they like to control the ball and the game.

Weight Watchers lack of defensive discipline gave the Trawler-men the opportunities they needed.

GSC have taken over the mismanaged Keelby team.

Scartholonia won the midfield game, squandering the match with squandered chances and goal keeping errors.
