Lindsey Old Boy's arrive with a futsal bang!!! |

Thursday, 16 November 2006 |
Second Avenue Monday Premier League Fulstow Rovers started as the betting mans outsider to challenge the Magpies supremacy. Second bottom with 2 wins in 9 is bizarre form for such a capable team. Nathan Ushers two goals was the difference as Grimsby Catalonia beat them 4-2.
Gunners watch need to be winning the close games to move upwards. Youngs edged them 5-4 with Michael West being the difference.
College 2001 got back on track, hammering the out of form Caistor. Danny Webber (3 goals) and keeper Cookie had strong games for College. They need Magpies to slip up if they are to make Sheffield and the 2007 FA National Finals.
Second Avenue Tuesday Division II Harvest FC are playing out of there skins and getting well deserved wins every week - the team to beat. Magpies II had Harvest asking questions up to half time (2-0), the second half saw Harvest take a different approach to beating the Maggies keeper and as so often in their 6 games this league Harvest dominated. Final score 10-0. Reports from observers say Harvest could easily play in the Premier League.
Grimsby Auditorium went 4-1 up but Piemonte never gave in and managed a little comeback which just wasnt good enough. Score 4-3 StreetSoccers first win and it has been coming after some very good performances in recent weeks. Grimsby Baptist Church did not have their full team, but they still had a good team, and had to be beaten. Score 5-3 ACD nearly had their first loss but managed to come from 2-1 to 3-2 up within 5 minutes left on the clock. ACD with 7 wins out of 7 played will not be happy with the Harvest FC attention. A great game in store when the teams meet. Game of the night by far Second Avenue Wednesday Division III Only Youngs of the top teams recorded a win. Youngs saw off the Hemswell Challenge 10-4, a surprisingly wide result.
Second Ave got back to winning ways with a crucial 7-4 win over Heta FC who have taken over the Dynamo FC who have had to leave the league as to many players working out of town.
New team Lindsey School Old Boys played back to back games in an attempt to catch up on fixtures. Nett result they come up with a double whammy; first ACD deSalao (7-5) and the Expressions (5-4) fall to the old boys. In one week the whole championship has been thrown into the melting pot.
Kent Street League A week off for all teams as fencing contractors had work to accomplish at the venue.
Friendly Matches Grimsby All Blacks v Rose & Crown. Score 8-3 Sam excelled for All Blacks a team that, judging by their friendly results, will be an asset to the Premier League.

Second Avenue Monday Premier League - 6th November Thanks to new added facilities to the sports online software the league uses I can now report Nicol Magpies 7-1 win over Grimsby Catalonia took them to 25 without defeat.
College 2001 hit an amazing 37 without defeat and then looses two on the trot. Youngs Seafoods beating them this week 6-4. Craig Norman excelling for Youngs.
Gunners Watch continued with mixed for, this week they drubbed Caistor 12-2, next week they could loose to the same team.
Second Avenue Tuesday Division II Rose & Crown must have been delighted to notch a win over the experienced Piemonte after several close losses. 5-2
Harvest FC had a convincing win over third placed CFKA leaving them and ACD the leagues only two undefeated teams. 9-3
Have the young StreetSoccer reached a turning point? Game of the night, result of the week! Twice behind StreetSoccer find the resolve to battle back to 3-3 against table toppers ACD.
A reshaped Thorpe Park showed great style early on, but could not stay the full 40 minutes with the revitalized Grimsby Auditorium. 8-5
Centaur needs a quality player if anyone can help. Its regular story that they start well but get punished late on. Grimsby Babtist were experienced enough to bide there time. 7-3
Second Avenue Wednesday Division III Due to injuries Hemswell were unable to field a team against ACD de Saloa, net result 3 points awarded to ACD.
PB Kent lost but recorded a respectable score against the inform Second Avenue. Kirk Russell being the difference between the teams. 6-2
Youngs Seafoods Wednesday team made a winning double for Youngs teams. FC Dynamo just of the pace. Craig Norman for second match in a week stood out. 7-3
Daz Clark rallied from 1-4 to 4-3 but just could not snatch an equalizer. Feature of the game was the quality of the goals.
Kent Street League Grimsby Bears, back with a full squad, would have anticipated beating Eagles. Eagles had other ideas.
Top placed Football Wizards are keeping the pressure on Kent St, who had a free week. Wizards 8 Evergalze 2.
The top three are in some form; Wizards 8 without a loss, Eagles 7 and Kent St. 10.
Friendly Matches Kent St just beat new to futsal, Grimsby All Blacks. All Blacks showed enough to move straight into the Monday night Premier Division. With Harvest FC moving that way as well Monday night will not be a place for the feint hearted.

Match Reports 30th October Second Avenue Monday Premier League The league record is 38 matches without a defeat. Magpies showed their class, Goodhand bags 6, as Magpies defeat College 2001 9-2. Credit to College who have set the cross bar very high indeed for anyone to emulate.
In the only other Premier league game Fulstow Rovers stopped a dreadful run of defeats beating Gunners Watch 6-4. The return of James Archer, ably assisted by Macca made the difference for Fulstow
Second Avenue Tuesday Division II Centaur new players couldnt help Centaur from losing again. Harvest fully deserved the match with some slick passing and very good movements. 9-0 Grimsby Auditorium saw a useful player on the sidelines, asked him to play, and he delivers 3 goals! Rose & Crown must be sick of loosing by 1 goal. 5-4
Game of the night with Grimsby Babtist Church going 4--1 up against CFKA and CFKA not giving; kept battling and managed to draw 6-6 StreetSoccer 1-0 up till the start of the second half when Piemonte grabbed a goal 10 seconds into the second half and then used there experience to pull of a tight 4-1 win.
Second Avenue Wednesday Division III First v second show down. Hemswell 6 Expressions 8. Great game, great result for Expressions as the peg Hemswell back.
Second Avenue just could not stay with the pace of title aspirants ACD de Saloa. 8-1 Youngs Seafoods 3 FC Coventry 3. End to end futsal, great advert for the game; it could have gone either way to last kick.
Kent Street League A restricted programme saw Nelson FC beat Futsal Warriors 10-1; Warriors have hit a bad patch whilst Nelson FC is rejuvenated. Football Wizards 9 StreetSoccer Milan 4. Experience v Youth. There are clear signs that Youth is getting closer to that elusive point when results will turn their way.
Friendly Matches CFKA (Div 2) comfortably beat Grimsby Catalonia (Prem) 6-1 Youngs Seafoods 10 (Prem) Hemswell 0 (Div 3)

Re: Give Us Back Our Game - the grassroots footba |

Tuesday, 31 October 2006 |
I am writing to tell you about the Give Us Back Our Game campaign and to see if you and everyone associated with futsal would like to support the fastest growing youth welfare movement in the UK. I have a strong suspicion that everybody who loves futsal will help us to promote real change in grassroots football.
Give Us Back Our Game was developed in October 2006 by youth football coaches, parents, academics and politicians concerned about the welfare of young players currently taking part in organised football in the UK.
Today's children learn from the grown-ups. Without the freedom of the streets and playing fields, their early experiences of football are organised, supervised and coached. They have no real say in what happens, and they don't have time to develop, learn and fall in love with the beautiful game. We at Give Us Back Our Game feel that the problem areas are: * Football is no longer the children's game - it is controlled by adults;
* Often, the same children are on the sidelines as subs or omitted every game;
* Coaches and parents can too often be seen screaming from the touchlines;
* Winning is prioritised before fun and development;
* There is not enough free play where children can solve their own problems;
* Children are not encouraged to express their skills on the pitch;
* Football is no longer the beautiful game: it's ugly.
Give Us Back Our Game have already had many pledges of support from clubs and concerned coaches in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. The Give Us Back Our Game National Fun Day will take place on 17 June 2007. There will be national as well as local 4 v 4 football events at hundreds of venues and local, regional and national media coverage. What can you or your organisation do?
You are the best person to decide how best you or your organisation can help support real youth player development in the UK. You may wish to add your name or your organisation's name to the hundreds of supporters across the UK to e-mail our website and lend their support. You may wish to organise your own event in June 2007. You may even wish for your company to lend sponsorship support to the guiding ethos of Give Us Back Our Game. Perhaps you could provide a link to the Give Us Back Our Game website, listed below. Simply, you may wish to forward this e-mail or the website details to other like-minded individuals. Whatever you do, you will help to send a strong message to youth football administrators in the UK that the childhood experiences that you had when you were young are well worth preserving. For further information about the ethos and philosophy of the Give Us Back Our Game campaign, log onto: www.giveusbackourgame.co.uk

Second Avenue Monday Premier League College slip, but not enough to loose that 38 since a loss record. Caistor 2-2
Simon Taylor inspires Grimsby Catalonia to 5-2 win over Caistor 2-2
Simon Taylor inspires Grimsby Catalonia to 5-2 win over Youngs Seafoods
Keeper Gav plays well on his return to Fulstow team; but how do you solve a problem like Goodhand? Magpies 8 Fulstow Rovers 2
Second Avenue Tuesday Division II Rose & Crown3 losses on the trot, but all low score defeats. Matty Homer (CFKA) the difference. 5-2
Harvest Foods looking a good team, pass it around well, was just too good for Babtist Church. 4-1
Grimsby Auditorium, with the full team back, stopped Thorpe Park winning run with a good performance. 11-3
StreetSoccer never gave up in the fight to win, but Magpies II just used there experience in futsal to win the game. How many more times will StreetSoccer loose by one goal? 4-3
The best game of the night was the visit of Kent Street Resource Centre team to play ACD. Booth teams top of their respective divisions. The game was let down by a good number of fouls that never needed to happen. An issue team managers need to address. Referees dont commit fouls. In some countries rules are enforced so tightly that almost any contact is an offence. Booth teams were neck and neck until the last minute when Kent Street got the winner.
Second Avenue Wednesday Division III
Games not played when going to press.
Kent Street League Futsal Warriors loose basement battle. With no substitutes they simply could not match Everglaze for energy levels. 6-4
Grimsby College 2006 is on a steep learning curve. Football Wizards greater experience was too much for a team at the start of their futsal careers.
Humbertherm made it hard work for Eagles, but lack of substitutes was again a problem. Eagles late dominance extended tight score to 11-4
Grimsby Bears 5 StreetSoccer Milan 0. Final score 6-5. Dogged determination, a never give in spirit, allied to skill almost got the youthful StreetSoccer a shock point.

Press Release - Taster Futsal Tournaments for Junior Teams. |
|
Written by Kevin Bryant
|
|
Monday, 23 October 2006 |
The Grimsby Futsal League has received permission to organize junior futsal leagues. Initial permission has been sanctioned by the Linconshire FA for the matches to be for ages 10-16, either gender. Age 9 and under is subject to a further discussion with the LFA Development Officer as there is a conceived clash with mini soccer. Close neighbors Sheffield & Hallam County FA and East Riding FA already embrace futsal for under nines. Graham Dell (England Futsal Team Manager) does not foresee a world class England futsal team until the team has a production line of players that have played the game from 8 onwards. Futsal is a completely different learning experience for young footballers. Best played indoors (or on astro surface), futsal rules dictate a fast skillful open game. Big or small players have no advantage on a futsal court, the only dictate and comparison is skill. Like tennis or basketball the best team always wins. FIFA rules allow for a squad of 12 players rotating with the 5 team players allowed on court at any one time.
Futsal is the national language for junior teams in 99% of the world. England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales the last countries to play what is the world most played small sided sport. 50% of the Premiership players will have cut their teeth playing futsal. Most South americans move to eleven aside at 16; which means they have played and practiced under stress for 8 more years than their English counter part. In terms of touches of the ball, shots at a goal they will have treble the experience of our young players. One ball between 22 or 1 ball between 10, its not rocket science to see which game is going to produce the better player. If you want solid evidence its available in detailed research by Manchester Metropolitan University and North Carolina University USA. The English FA are ahead of the other FA Associations, but they are all, at the instigation of UEFA, developing futsal development programmers.

Local awareness about FUTSAL |
|
Written by Kevin Bryant
|
|
Thursday, 19 October 2006 |
Why dont we as a league, write a feature in the sports telegraph with a brief piece about the local futsal setup , introduce the game in moderate detail so the readers understand what the game is all about and finally, have a few of the teams with kits, looking the part, on view for all to see. Surely this would boost local awareness and increase the chances of some much needed funding to improve the facilities and in turn, thus improve the local game over all!!! I believe the lack of quality facilities only hinders the games development. Second Ave is in much of repair and Kent St's field of play isnt anywhere near the minimum size required. Although the sites in question facilitate requirements at the moment, we need to be looking to gain financial support from the recognised sport funding organisations to improve the current facilities or find a new site fit for purpose. Im sure the majority would agree, that when visiting Nothern Conference based in hull and the nationals, standards are much higher compared to what locally, the league can offer. Surely our long term goal is to improve in all areas of the game and short term, ensure the increasing high standard that Kevin is trying to achieve through local facilties and most important local players!!! Finally with high standards being maintained. this would hopefully attract more officials to the game and become an appealling game to officate. But with the minority still not quite realising how important having a qualified official present, we still need to improve a little further in this area. I for one, have gain emense experience from officating locally and regionally. There is no better league on its day! For the development of the players involved and the officials too!

Futsal Fixtures Week Commencing Monday 9th October |

Monday Premier Division
Castors? experience too much for Gunners Watch. ?Gunners built up play slow and ponderous compared to the clinical speed of their opponents. ??You can?t be offside at futsal? so get players past the last man with the ball? ?Score 6-2
Grimsby Catalonia under perform. ?You can?t misplace passes and squander guilt edge chances and then hope to beat a team like Young?s, who feed of your mistakes. ?Superb ?Norm? goal highlight of game. ?5-2
The eagerly awaited Fulstow Rovers ? College 2001 game did not disappoint. ?College always led, but could not get away from Fulstow. ?Speed on the counter was key to a College win; Lee Smith getting the winner with seconds to go after a similarly late Fulstow goal looked as though it had wrecked the College night. ?7-6. College 34 undefeated!
Tuesday Division 2
New boys? Harvest FC nick last gasps 4-3 win over Rose & Crown. ?The feed back from Harvest FC management was that futsal was tougher than anticipated.
Maggie?s bottom! No wins in 4, which not the form associated with Magpies II before the summer break. ?CFKA were just to good, playing neat football and not missing opportunities as they arose. Magpies 2 CFKA 7
Thorpe Park have lifted there game a level. ?A strong compact unit that gave Centaur few opportunities. ?5-1
Grimsby Auditorium started well, but not the even clash expected, ?as the game wore on ACD took control. ?6-2
Kent Street League
Three weeks ago the title looked to have been won by Kent St Resource Centre as the Grimsby Bears stumbled. ?What we had all missed was Football Wizards games in hand and their ability to win those games. ?Futsal Warriors gave it a go but Wizards were to experienced. ? 10-2
StreetSoccer Milan must have been pleased to meet a new youthful team, with less experience than themselves. ?Milan 8 Gy College 0. ?
Nelson didn?t win but 8-10 versus Eagles was a strong performance.
Everglaze recent improvements were lost as Humbertherm had one of their ?on? weeks. ?14-2
Posative of the week, two new teams apply to join.
Negative, two sendings off for foul language to referees. ?The LFA love the money some of you guys are donating. ?Just remember referees can now report indescretions via email. ?Years ago they had to right a report, put a stamp on it, post etc. ?So some got 'overlooked.' ?Now it's one click and delivered, don't give referees the opportunity. |

FA National Championships Qualifying Group
Gunners Watch reverse last weeks lose to Grimsby Catalonia. 4-1 College 8 Grimsby Bears 1. College 33 games without lose. Fulstow Rovers 9 Young?s Seafood?s 5. Result in dispute, did Fulstow have ineligible player on the pitch? Are Nicol Magpies days of rolling teams over finished? Results are getting closer by the week. Caistor get close at 2-4. If you can?t stand the heat get out of the kitchen, Kent Street Resource Centre and Grimsby Bears drop out of Monday league.
Tuesday Division II
StreetSoccer u/16 junior teams last year are getting better game by game. Only last minute goal gave Piemonte the bragging rights. 4-3 Centaur started clear favorites to beat Rose & Crown. Result Rose & Crown 8-6 Thorpe Park 5 CFKA, not a result Thorpe Park would have accomplished last year. Magpies II bottom of the league? You would have bet on them to finish in the top 3 before a ball was kicked. ACD are the team to beat as Maggie?s found out. 8-3 With Harvest FC and Grimsby Auditorium in action next week this league is a dog eat dog league.
Wednesday Division III
Mr. Hornigold has forgotten yet again to send in results, anyone know a referee that can post results? In his absence I will do a pools forecast????..Expressions 4 Young?s 8, ACD de Salao 7 FC Dynamo 3, FC Coventry 4 Second Ave 3, Daz Clark 5 PB Kent 5???.
Kent St Resource Centre
Sid Sadler (Humbertherm) must know more good players than anyone else in the league. They gave the inform Wizards a real test, but miss too many chances to cause a shock. 6-2 Everglaze 0 Grimsby Bears 0. Unfortunately that was the half time score. But how they made the Bears work for their 4 second half goals. Second Ave (Grimsby Babtist Church) 9 Nelson FC 0. Chris the Nelson keeper excels with a couple of saves Gordon Banks would have applauded. StreetSoccer Milan have talent, they lack the physique of their older opponents. With 3 minutes on the clock Eagles led 6-4 and StreetSoccer were pushing towards 6-5. For some inexcusable reason they lapsed to 7-4 and before they new it 9-4. They will learn from it.
Have teams any match photos to add to web?

Will futsal help me play eleven aside football? |
|
Written by Kevin Bryant
|
|
Monday, 02 October 2006 |
The answer has to be yes. Check out the comments of Deco, Portugal's play maker in chief. He moved from futsal to football at 16. A continueing theme from Brazilian and South American players.
They move to eleven aside when they have the skill to master the eleven aside ball; not as 10 year olds as a matter of course.
Add Italy to the list of futsal nations, they have more players registered for futsal than 11 v 11 and then look at where the World Cup ends up, and you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out the link.

Newsletter from Futsal premier League that will be of interest to all futsal personal.
Please make sure that your players are all aware of the laws of the game, including some recent changes made by FIFA.
1. It is advised that all players download a copy of the laws from our website. ?www.thefpl.com/futsallinks.htm
A couple to be aware of:
Law 7&8 . Players can now leave the pitch at a time out. Helpful in preventing water being spilled on the court.
Note: substitutions can still not take place at a time-out. The player must enter the court after the time-out. If the player coming on is about to take a kick0in, he must enter the court first to complete the substitution. (that?s the rule)
Law 12 Fouls & Misconduct. ? ? ? Direct free kick.. ? ? ? ? ? ?
if a player charges an opponent?..bumping into an opponent with the shoulder is sometimes seen as unavoidable physical contact?..
?if it is not reckless, foolish or excessively forceful? it counts as a sporting kind of contact.
Please be advised of the text we have underlined. Some players appear to think that the more forceful shoulder charge, used often in 11s football, is permitted in
futsal. It is not allowed to the same degree, and we will be instructing our referees on how we wish this to be interpreted and applied. Excessive force will not
be allowed on FPL games.
Law 13 Signals ? Indirect Free Kick.
Both referees should indicate with arm raised until the free-kick is taken and until ball touches another player or goes out of play.
This is intended for clarity for all.
Law 14 Accumulated Fouls?.There is a new ?mandatory signal? that referees should use to indicate to the timekeeper when applying the advantage rule.
For those not aware of this rule, advantage can be played in the event of a foul. The referee then indicates the accumulated foul to the time-keeper at the next
occasion when the ball is out of play.
Procedures to determine the Winner of a game..
Slight change here, more specifically for cup ties and play-off situations.
In the event of a draw, there are clarifications on how the winner is determined.
Specific point to note is ?kicks taken from the penalty mark (10 metre)
We will adjust our score sheet so that admins can track penalties awarded and taken.
These are just some highlight we thought would be useful. Again, it is up to the teams to be aware of the laws of the game. Referees have to work to stay abreast
law changes.. Teams need to do the same. It will help avoid frustrations at times.
On a lighter note?.
There?s also some very nice skills you may want your players to have a peek at. (link on the same page above) ?see YouTube reference
Best to you

FC Grimsby back on track? |
|
Written by Kevin Bryant
|
|
Thursday, 28 September 2006 |
A great 6-2 win against FC Barca (Leeds) was the tonic needed after the 7-0 mauling from Doncaster Deaf College.
FC Grimsby fielded 3 Brazilan players as the effort continues to establish Grimsby as a futsal force.
It was the Grimsby players that impressed against dangerous opposition that were always a threat.
To pick a star player would be disrespectful to other players. Danny Hornigold was manificent and scored with a scorcher. Jamie Archer controlled the game and poached 3; Shaun Gladwell slipped on the previous weeks performance but still netted 3 times. Robert Cass continues to be an accomplished defender that can play when he has the ball. The 4 gaol difference could have been dangerously close without Dean Gladwell's best performance of the season.
The signs are there that a very formidable team is building.

Arrived at Second Ave to find Catalonia 2 goals adrift of Gunners Watch. Went to retrieve a lost ball to return and a final score of Catalonia 6 Gunners 5, and I was only away 3 minutes.
College 2001 keeps that remarkable run of wins. Young?s Seafood?s just could stifle the clinical College counter attacks. 8-4
Magpies are missing Paul Goodhand. Fulstow like Young?s last week got close in matches Maggie?s were winning comfortably not long ago.
Magpies played well as a team to defeat Centaur who played very well on the day. Centaur 3 Magpies 8.
StreetSoccer 1 CFKA 8. StreetSoccer couldn?t keep there style of play from last week as a consequence CFKA ran away strong winners.
Piemonte 6 Rose and Crown 2. Piemonte, a famous futsal name from the past reappeared to show that they are still good enough to beat any team with a convincing win over Rose & Crown
ACD starting of poorly but upped the gear to beat the always competitive Baptist Church 9-5
Clean sheets for FC Coventry (v FC Dynamo) and Hemswell in local derby with PB Kent as they booth win comfortably (6-0, 9-0).
Second Avenue Resource Centre stop Expressions run of 2 wins with a resounding 7-2 win.
Young?s Seafood?s played 2 won 2; Daz Clarke played 2 lost 2. Score 12-5.
When Everglaze defend deeper as a team, and counter attack at speed they will reap positive results. A late 3 goal rally showed they can do it. Eagles 8 Everglaze 3.

Gunners Watch 4 College 7. College 2001 has won last 32 league games. 30 in Division 2.
Fulstow Rovers get early fright, 4-0 down against Kent St Resource Centre they fight back to win 13-7.
Magpies vulnerable? Young?s Seafood?s rattle Maggie?s, loosing by 1 goal in 11.
Kent St Resource Centre wins Kent St League? Kent St had to dig deep to turn a half time deficit round in what was a 6 point match. Bears in second place need to make up 8points with 2 games in hand. It could have been so different.
Enver?s Reds have changed name to Eagles. StreetSoccer score best goal of the night, but to no avail as Eagles run out 13-5 winners.
Humbertherm they still had the game won from an early stage; even with Sid misfiring on all cylinders! Warriors made the score respectable with a late rally. 9-5
Everglaze are making improvements, those big defeats seem to be behind them. With better finishing they could have got closer to All Star Legends.
Performance of the night at Second Ave (Tuesday League), StreetSoccer, well organized team performance wins them a hard fought point against Rose & Crown. 3-3.
ACD keep on winning, CFKA 1-4 fall guys.
Grimsby Baptist Church just too strong for Robbo?s Centaur. 6-3
Magpies v. Thorpe Park result outstanding. At a guess 6-2 to Magpies, watch this space????..result; Thorpe Park 5 Magpies 4. Do I get a pay out? I bet each way.
Wednesday results???at last.Expressions 8 FC Coventry 7
Hemswell 6 Second Ave 2
ACD de Saloa thrash usually difficult to beat Daz Clark 14-3
FC Dynamo make life difficult for new comers PB Kent. 4-1

FA National Qualifying Group: Magpies over power Bears, read nothing into the 10-0 score, Bears had just fallen off plane from USA trip. College 100% record continues in top division, but for how much longer? College 5 Catalonia 2. Fulstow lose out to odd goal in 13 v Gunners. Keeper Gavin badly missed. Caistor asleep as Young?s Seafood?s run in 9 against 3.
Division 2 CFKA get off to sharp 8 -2 win over Centaur. Auditorium and Babtist Church test each other; Auditorium edge it 3-2. Hemswell no show against Magpies. Has to be a good reason or its bye, bye Hemswell. ACD to strong for young StreetSoccer lads. 10-2.
Division 3 Expressions score 12 and for the new season manage to concede less than 12! (9) Young?s Seafood?s 7 FC Dynamo 5. Young?s favorites for title? FC Coventry 1 (my title forecast) Hemswell 13. What went wrong Jones? Daz Clark injury crisis. Points have to go to PB Kent. The responsibility of team manager is to have that team on the pitch. PB played Kent St. Futsal warriors in a friendly. Warriors record impressive win.
Kent Street League. Top quality game, credit to booth teams; Freeman St Resource Centre 11 All Star Legends 4. Futsal Warriors 4 StreetSoccer Milan 4. Warriors wonder what happened. StreetSoccer score 2 in first 4 minutes and 2 in last 4 minutes. Everglaze have Nelson FC on back foot, but defensive errors and missed chances cost them. 1-3

Another bow in the feather of Grimsby futsal as Ben Mortlock is include in the Great Britain squad for the World University games in Poland.
Ben played for Nicol Magpies before moving onto Teeside Univesity from where his opportunity arose.
If anyone ot there has Ben's contact it would be nice to get a report on how things went?
